    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: April 27, 2026

Sentinel Push-to-Talk ("Sentinel," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, website visitors, and end users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at sentinelptt.com or use our push-to-talk services and applications. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our services.

    1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: When you request a demo, submit a contact form, or engage with our sales team, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you include in your message.

Account and service data: When your organization activates Sentinel PTT service, we collect billing contact information, device identifiers, user credentials (hashed), and service configuration details.

Usage and network data: Our platform automatically collects data related to push-to-talk sessions including call timestamps, duration, group identifiers, device type, and - where GPS features are enabled - location data associated with registered devices.

Technical data: We collect standard web log data such as IP address, browser type, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on site to help us maintain and improve our website.

    2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    • Provision, operate, and support your push-to-talk service
    • Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and customer support tickets
    • Send service-related communications (billing, outages, updates)
    • Improve our network performance, features, and user experience
    • Comply with applicable legal obligations
    • Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking.

    3. GPS and Location Data

Sentinel PTT offers optional GPS tracking and dispatch visibility features. Location data is only collected from devices where this feature has been explicitly enabled by your organization's administrator. Location data is used solely to provide dispatch and fleet visibility within your organization's account and is never shared with third parties except as required by law.

End users should be informed by their organization's administrator when GPS tracking is active on their assigned device.

    4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information with:

    • Service providers: Trusted vendors who assist us in operating our network infrastructure, billing systems, and customer support platforms, bound by confidentiality agreements.
    • Carrier partners: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon receive only the technical data required to route communications across their networks.
    • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
    • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, customer data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

    5. Data Retention

We retain account and service data for the duration of your active service agreement and for a reasonable period afterward as required for billing reconciliation, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. Web inquiry data (contact forms, demo requests) is retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at legal@sentinelptt.com.

    6. Security

Sentinel employs industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and redundant server infrastructure to protect your information. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard all data we process.

    7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and improve site functionality. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not function properly as a result. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies.
